Dice Deflectors

This is my submission for the GMTK Game Jam for 2022. This game follows the theme of Roll of the Dice.

Description

A game where you use dice to solve puzzles! Solve 5 puzzles of increasing difficulty by slinging and maneuvering dice to your will. Throw your dice to hit the target! Deflect your dice if it bounces in your way! Enlarge your dice for extra maneuvering options! This game will cogitate your mind in an entertaining way!

Story

Play as Three, a side of a die that is missing it's opposite side and friend, Four. Now Three must rise to the occasion and save her friend while avoiding snake eyes.

Controls

WASD keys to move. 

Left Mouse Click to parry a Die.

Right Mouse Click to throw a Die.

E to create a Die Block.

Q to remove a Die Block.

Health on the top left.

Hello! My name is Slumber. An aspiring game developer and Youtuber! This is my first time participating in the GMTK Game Jam, so I'm excited to see how I do! This game was based off a tabletop game I've created two months ago about bouncing dice. It was quite a surprise to see the theme and recalling that game.

 I can't wait to see how everybody likes the game! I'll create a devlog of the experience making a game in such a short time. Good Luck to everybody else in this game jam!
